For those who have seen the anime Evangelion, I noticed the other day that elites look a lot like eva 01. A crazy coincidence or inspiration?

Anyways....

Yeah I noticed that Halo has a lot of Aliens inspiration and references. Marine's attitudes and lines along with some equiptment. However I think some people look too deeply into the corralations between the plots of Halo and Aliens.

That's an easter egg, not a cheat since it doesn't change the actual gameplay.
