i dont understand what peoples facinations with redoing maps that have been already done is. i think it is a bit on the immature side though. cant you just wait patiently for the real one to come out? grow up, lambos. you basically have to then go back into the bitmap in geurilla and change the alpha to compressed, recompile the bitmap and you are good to go

for max there are(the main ones i use) Brazil R/S, Mentalray(comes with max 6). and if you cant afford those programs, then pov(i think that is the name)

make sure that you select all the verticies to the object and click weld (with the threshold at the default .1). otherwise you will run into errors sometimes having to do with radiosity(oddities in shadows).

all you do is include a mp wind. then you jack the settings up, and when theere are particles, they get all swept away. this is not hard to do.

you will need to rig alot of bones(i think like 38 ) and skin the arms with the bones and tweak them to your desired preference. then you animate. and export.

you will need to add the tag to them to make them light up. in theory you can make anything emit light.
