This wouldn't work for me either. I have a hunch that the big ass bridge that connects the two sides of the map may have something to do with it, like it goes too high and outside of the level's bsp or something. I don't know why your cache files aren't showin up though, they should be in eithr x,y,...

if you do put blocks behind the trees, you can just null out the link to the bitmaps of the blocks in HHT, then you would just have an invisible wall of blocks to prevent people from going past. I haven't even played this mod yet though, so I don't know how much of the blocks would be visible anyway...

you don't need a special program. Just hit "print screen" on your keyboard and that takes a snapshot of your screen. Then open up MSpaint or any picture editing program and click paste and save it as a .jpg or whatever.

I will consider making a night version of this mod, because flashlights/nightvision/warthog headlights would look pretty cool with it. actually, I guess I shouldn't sell myself short. I was camping for the weekend so I had no clue how popular this mod really was. Front page of halo-scene.com... NICE!

I free copy of halo2 would be awesome too cuz I'm probably one of the few that haven't pre-ordered it yet.

I moved the rocket launcher to the top because it would have been way to easy to get to if I didn't. Then I didn't want the sniper and the rocket launcher to be right next to each other, so I hid the sniper rifle underneath the blocks in the trench. It gives you a reason to go under there.

Yea, it took quite a while to get all the blocks how i wanted them, but I like how it turned out. I haven't tried yet, but it should make for an interesting ctf match. sparkedit WILL compress this map, it worked like a charm for me. Just name it a40.map (I think) and put it in your map folder, and it'll always be there for ya (of course you'll lose your regular silent cartographer unless you have multiple copies of halo installed) If it doesn't work with sparkedit...
