What do you plan on doing to them? I Plan to clean them up some the Human corpse is one example. I will be ripping him apart more, and blooding up his intestenal-tract more The Infection form I'm fixing up on some ends that didnt connect, and his tentecals. The Elite mainly just blending some areas...

when ever it happend to me I just click no.................. :? and I dont think you should be stuck in safemode if you just quit the game..... and instead of reinstalling halo just restore the map..... saves alot of time... and if it was in safe mode.... it probably just set your settings to low ch...

nice eyes i guess, and you cant edit the shield, you can extract the texture but you cant import it back in cause its one of those AR8blah blah files. you can edit the shield......... there are 2 pics.... look at the first pic......... its the one with the shield.... if you dont see a difference go...

and when you try to get online it should come up with a popup where you can click ok to get new patch.

well its been along time since i've used it myself.. but 1 you might be opening the wrong Halo file 2- well i'm sure you know its intentioned for Halo 2 3 ah I foreget lemme do a test I used to get the same thing.. I used to know how to fix it... it was something in the settings.. oh yea... sometime...

open a map in HMT... under, coll
Cyborg/ what ever,
change the like shield to 9999,
and the health 9999

and thats all..

well there are places but I think the idea is if your not even willing to buy the game for $20 then there no real point anyways $20 = nothing, unless your that guy under the bridge... like me :P Edit** Actually there are places that sell it for $10 in stores around me.. and I bet on like Ebay or som...
