there is no way to have a pelican in the map without having it look odd.
when you start up, it will be all flippy, and its really hard to get in.
i suggest skipping the pelican..
but if you would really like to put it in, theres a tut at the insolence website.

in dothalo, choose any weapon under the [weap] tag.
go to the tag editor and under "flags" check off the box that says dual wieldable.
fix encryption, and your done.

as for the jackal shield,
all i know is that youll need insolence.

go to the sbsp tag in dark matter, double click it, then choose the one thing thats there. scenarios/multi/[map]/[map] wait for the bsp viewer to load. right click it and select whatever you want to see on the map. then you can move around what ever you want with the number pad including player spaw...
