HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

For some reason when i downloaded this and over wrote the old weap.xml and loaded dothalo nothing at all was diffrent. Am i missing something?

Hey, I was following a tutorial on how to reskin a warthog and i am having some difficulty. After i had extracted the warthog_standard.0.dxt2dxt3.dds I would goto paintshop to skin and everytime with every map it would say disk error.. Little help please
