HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I think it has to do with ui.map or something, if that helps anyone to figure it out,

I need some help making my UI invisible. Is there any way i can mod the files but back them up? I want to make it disappear for filming purposes. Sorry if this was posted somehwere else.
