what would I use for easy bitm extracting/injecting for halo2 maps then? I extracted some bitm from halo2 with ch2r.. but they were just transparent background when opened in Photoshop.

Whenever I try to open a map in HMT is says "Not a valid halo map file" however, they are valid, I just ftp'd them from the halo2 on my xbox harddrive.. and they work in dothalo, Ch2r and insolence...

is there something wrong with HMT v3.5 ?

I want to start modelling (ie: modifying hogs etc..) where do I start?

Can I pull the models out of the game files and import them into 3dsmax..?

I have experience in 3dsmax from school and other passtimes, however, I've never tried anything halo2 related...

Can someone help me get started?

Ascension is the only map I have on my computer right now, so it would be best for that.. but I can transfer others if need be. Also, if at all possible...
