Yep. You have to revert to v1.0 halo. Just delete the folder TDATA/4d530064/$u on your e/f drive. Make a backup if you want

They are not bitmaps - they are dds files. Dunno if that helps, I dont know how to actually get them in.

You need a modded xbox (ie softmod or chip) - shouldnt make any difference - the principle is the same. As for the skinning itself, i think there is a tutorial on the site. Ill have a look now.
