That was originally one of the ideas suggested before the tunneling software came about. If I remember correctly, one of the main reasons they did not attempt such a system was a fear of legal action from microsoft. Live is their baby and they don't want it hurt.

Because they don't support modding the Xbox...? ;o yea I even said that before but he still thinks they do for some reason... I in no way think they support "modding" in the sense of running unsigned code, altered maps, etc. If they did, Live would be in worse shape than it currently is. ...

Scripting With Player Health, Etc

So, I'm getting back into modding and scripts seem to have the most potential for interesting effects.

Anyways, how would I go about writing a script that would give the current player more ammo or health on X event, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well... after toying with entity, I do know that getting the collision of halo 1 maps [via their ce counterparts] is already possible. The bsp's collision can be extracted to .obj and then injected into whatever map you want, and it does work. The model itself though, while it can be extracted into ...

Halo1 mp Maps to H2

Is there any way to convert halo 1 mp maps to halo 2? I'm not sure what the differences are between the format of the bsps, but if anyone could share any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Entity is capable of extracting the bsps and bsp collision models from the ce renditions of the maps...
