Well, maybee I should have been more specific on what I know. I got all that on the tag class, and the next 4 bytes are the file name offset, then there are always 4 bytes of 0's for some reason, then the ident, swap the endian look in hme outputs blah blah blah. I don't have trouble with all of tha...

Idents
Ok, I have been looking around here and at halo skins, as well as reading through Forges tutorials again, and can't find the answer to a question I have, although I'm sure someone here can help me out . SO, lets go over what I know. 1) I know how to find idents 2) I know that they are different from...

No, Alister means reflexives. There are things in the meta data that need to be changed from level to level. It is harder to rebuild xbox maps 1) Because all of the cache files need to be 47MB, so to add something you must delete something, and 2) There is currently no program such as hmt that will ...

From what I understand, you just have to look through the meta, and if you are doing this on PC almost all of the reflexives will end in 40 or 41, and 80 or 81 on xbox. The way to find them is to look for 0#00 0000 #### ##(8 or 4)(0 or 1). It's hard to explain. take a look at this: http://forge.halo...

No, you don't HAVE to do map rebuilding (although that would make it a LOT easier). If you haven't see Dmauro's turret mod, you should check it out (unless you don't have xbox halo or a modded xbox). He took turrets off the back of warthogs and moved em around a bit (on top of the bases, as well as ...

Projectile Injection
Could anyone here explain to me how to get the wraith mortar into a multiplayer lvl? I know that it is possible, as Dmauro got it into BG, but i just dont know enough about hex editing to do it myself. I would be able to adjust the damge and inject the sounds with HMT, but I have tried everything I ...
