i know i've asked this a million times, and not only me, but this is gonna be asked a million other times if no-one gets a proper answer...so here we go again.. well i know how to export .obj files and then import them in 3dsm.....but when i do it looks like this : Pelican :? i'm not using the obj2m...

everything can be modeled if you have the skills, tools and patience.
however, like i've heard on this forum, getting it in halo might be a little more tricker (if all possible)

i selected all polygons and stuff and i'm pretty sure i've got the right plugin, but i'll check it again, thanx anyway :wink:

EDIT - i forgot to tell, i also tried it in lightwave and Milkshape, no luck tho, very weird....:?

i'll just use this topic, cuz i don't really want to make a new one for this, it's also about a error in 3dsm 4.2 this time. when i try to import for example, the MC in to it, i just either get a really weird looking model or just one with only like 40 vertices, i've tried scaling it, fliping the no...

hmmm...isn't there a way around it so you don't have to use the HEK....
i mean, if those programmers can do it, there must be a way around it...

well i could try to work on just moving the vertices....maybe the file error is becuz some parts were named wrong or the import into 3dsm doesnt import certain things, so you get errors...
i'll look into it,
but u can make custom maps, right ?

Modeling New Vehicles

hi, i'm new to this forum and i'm just wondering something... i've been modeling with 3ds max for over a year now, mostly for the game midtown madness 2, but that game is dying. Now, is there a way to make vehicles for Halo, export them and play with them in the game itself... Sorry if this allready...
