Trulife, that looks very good but I will have to be picky and say that his fingers are reflecting a little too much to be rubber/whatever the leathery stuff is? Other than that the armour looks pretty good.

One way to get the texturemaps is to extract the dxt files using HMT then use nvidia dds utilities to convert them to .bmp

I repeat myself I use the heightmaps rather than normalmaps for my models, but they tend to look a lot more pixelated compared to other people's models using normalmaps... is there any way I can fix this? I use bumpmaps (heightmaps - not the in-game ones, I converted the normal maps) rather than normalmaps for my models, but they tend to look a lot more pixelated compared to other people's models using normalmaps... is there any way I can fix this without using normalmaps? thats very good, but I think his hand looks a bit too smooth, maybe try adding a few wrinkles? That and all the other suggestions.

Its much better than my stuff so I shouldn't really talk but hey =P

This is different to help with masterchief models! I'm trying to get the texture map for the longsword working, but so far, no luck. Its a model from Halo PC, and the map doesnt match up with the model. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Well, I'm astounded by these renders, and I think I may have asked some people about this, but I'd like to do some renders too, but using the Halo 2 models, and my XBox isn't modded... can I please have some help with this?
