try making sure it is really .ini, windows has a nasty habit of adding .txt on the end... try turning off hide known file extensions in folder options.

you can put the path, or if the program is in the same folder as the map, just the mapname.

Its the way it works, you rename the map you are inputting so you get the name the game recognises as output, just saves time renaming things for halo to play it.

This does what it says it does, removes the BSP, both the collision and the visible from your map... why do that you ask? Well have a backup copy (original ) of the map you apply the ppf to, and then apply the ppf to the other copy and use HMMM to detect the differences.

Well it means they can leave the conversions installed and still play on their popular non-converted maps on public servers, and also hopefully soon someone will set up a server with a converted map rotation.

Convert any map you want

When you convert a map people usually say it is better to replace a crap map (chiron?) so that you don't make people choose between your map and another good map. But its usually easier to replace a map with vehicles for example like Bloodgulch.... so what you can do is this: Convert the map you wan...

Thanks, let me just clarify how the no HUD mod works... It can work for all maps because unlike the xbox version, the PC version stores bitmaps (which is what the HUD is) as a seperate file, so all maps are affected as the HUD is unnafected by what map you are on (ok not 100% true but you would have...

(Halo 1)Halo Map Meta Modifier V1.1 *MAJOR BUGFIX*

This version fixes the bug where some of the changed meta would not be recognised properly. It should now recognise it 100%!

Please could a mod move this to utilities, i can't post there. And delete my old thread if you feel like it :P Thanks

The hud removal is for all levels (bitmaps.map) and the other bits (banshee cam etc.) are level specific.

Ah, it seems i was doing the calculation slightly wrong, the number is 40 not 36 or 28. This seems to correspond with the size of the tag header so i think this is where the number comes from.
