where do you get HEK

pc it just never opens

I go and open the cache file, bloodgulch.map, but it never opens on the sparkedit screen. Help.

Is HEK a program and do you know where I can get these programs???

is there anyhting else or a tutorial you know of???

How do you make a level entirely from scratch, what programs do I NEED etc. I am just getting started in modding, and I need help.........
