Alright. Anyone can do it, if you understand that "magic" tutorial that Grenadiac showed, and know how to change it. I've been able to get larger textures to inject properly without screwing up other textures by changing the offset with "magic," and am figuring out the modeling.

Well, removing the ice-shaders does not make it look more waterish. People with bad cards can't see the shaders, but it still looks like ice. You have to replace it with the water shaders.

If you go back to the page where the link was to download the plugin in the Nvidia Site, there should also be a link in the same box to download 2 dlls in order to get the plugin to work.

Um, have you played X-Box Halo a lot before? It's just like that, very shiny. I'm still working on the teleporter, which I think I edited the wrong layer, but it still looks kind of good. I'll be fixing that.

A Texture Fix to make Halo PC look like Halo X-Box

Okay, I did it. You know how in X-Box, the Assault-Rifle has a shiny effect us PC users don't get, even with a DX9 card? (You know this if you have X-Box Halo)...I fixed it. Gearbox didn't have enough time to finish the AR's shader, which gives it the shiny effect, because Microsoft rushed them. I a...

Okay, when you press CTRL-S or go to file save, a menu comes up. On the top of the menu, there is a pull down menu. This is where you select this.

Yes, you need to reskin the multipurpose texture, and make it transparent. When you reskin it, watch out, it's hard. But, you can just make it 100% transparent for a cheaper looking skin.

Actually, this card very good. It supports every function of X-Box Halo, including Active-Camo effect. I recommend you get the laptop with it. I have a Radeon 9600XT 128 megs for my desktop. Laptops shouldn't go higher than 64 megs, because the battery will die out very fast. My dad's laptop has a R...

When you edit the warthog skin, check the multipurpose texture. There is a Warthog Multipurpose and a Warthog Texture. You need to edit the multipurpose texture also. PM me if you need anymore help.

You can't see the skins that the person who hosted the game made. Only you can see it. The only differences you will be able to see are if the physics were modified, or stuff like snipers shooting rockets. No models or skins, only the host can see them.

Nope, there isn't. People consider other programs to work, but they don't create a certain thing called MipMaps. MipMaps make sure that when you view the texture from far away in Halo, it doesn't turn black. Adobe Photoshop's Plugin generates them. Without them, while playing Halo, if you back away ...
