I was thinking about somethign like that also, but not being a xbe modder, I went the easy route and hardcoded menu items into my avalaunch menu. Right at the top I have separate entries for CXE, retail, NMP1.1 and NMP2

Pretty simple and once your in you can pretty much swap around between them all.

I am guesing Xtool is on the usual xbins location??

Hey all, Ben lurking off/on for a while. played the gulch night, H2 weapon level with a bunch of friends and everyone loves the new weapons. I did a quick search and saw nothing so though I would ask.. Can someone point me to a tutorial or tell me what program I need to be able to export the weapons...

From what I read on there though, seen the no-mod exploitys required soldering the board though, and these guys are not willing to do that.

Hey all. I am the only person in our group with a modded box. I have the BG 200 tree level loaded and would like to run it in a System link session. Can it be done?!?

I use AVALAUNCH dash which has a built in file manager.

With that I made a MODS folder in my Halo directory, then subfolders under that (named for thr mod installed) with a cache003.map in each. I then use file manager to copy it to the Y drive when ready..

Hey all. I just started modding with PPF's. took a while, but I found a tut that worked. ANYWAY - I am trying to use the turret mod for BG. I already tested with the 200tree mod and the warthog secondary fire mod, those both took and worked great. (using ppf-o-matic) I then took a clean copy of 003....

I am having problems with the ppf patching. I FTP'd 003 to my PC, opened it in ppf-o-matic, then selected the 200tree ppf and patched. reloaded it to my xbox but when I loaded BG nothing was different?? Is there some other step I need to do? Is there a specific cache file to patch? I grabbes 003 as per the instructions on the site, patched the 200tree.ppf to it, reloaded it onto my xbox. opened BG and nothing is any different? Did I miss something?
