Adding level sound?

Well, you know how in most levels in Halo they have the background sounds. Like in AotCR there is the wind blowing sound. Well, i am interested in adding that to my level but i'm not exactly sure how. Can anyone help me out?

General 3ds max annoyance

Here's what happens... You know in 3ds max how when you hold down alt and the middle mouse button and then you can rotate. Well, whenever I do that in max now the view turns to wireframe and then when i stop rotating it goes back. I must have turned on some setting. Anyone know the solution?

Ok, my question is, is somthing like this (in the pic below) illgal under the sealed world rules. See how the pink cliffs have one poly and the blue structure has 3 along the same edge. Is that wrong? The reason I ask is because i get a ton of errors and Ive done STL checks and everything checks out...

My problem is that i am trying to make an island level but the water is always placed several hundred units below the acctuall map (in sapien) I know you can do a shader of "water!" and it will make the plane water. Shoule i just do that and make it go out REALLY far from the island? Or is...

It didnt work AGAIN, so at this point im stuck... O, and i forgot to mention, every time I start radiosity the "countdown numbers" start at zero and just stay there. I though maybe it was loading so i stayed there for like 10 minutes and they just stayed at zero, thats when i did the radio...

ya, i did:

"tool bitmaps levels\MAPNAME\bitmaps"

and it did the alpha whatever thing, so i edited that in gurilla and did it again (like in the movies).

In Sapien my map is always all white...?

I fallowed the kirk tutorials and everything went great so i started my own map from scratch. Everything is going good but when i get to step 8 and do the radiosity part (so you can see the level terrain) it renders all white... not with my ground bitmap. Anyone know a solution?

I made some terrian for my map (Its my first one) and I was going to test it out in game.
