ok thats good try making a smaller test map and see what that does thats all i can think of for you to try make it 2000 width and lenth 1000 height thats about half a map so see what happens

yes its in the mapeditor folder but it should also move a copy to the directory i mentioned above

no problem and that battery life is pretty frickin good for what that beast is running lol wish my crappy laptop had 2 hrs on battery i think it gets like 40 minutes

well if you dont texture your map it will error and try to build a map out of one block when you start adding more you get more chances of failure and make sure to add b_levelroot

How are you making the hills and cliffs?

Your in the correct directory Documents\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\Maps yeah?

As long as you can get a radeonx1000 or geforce 7000 series or higher 256 is perfectly fine 512 really doesnt do much more if you check the benchmarks on sites like gamespot 256 and 512 perform pretty close but yeah 512 is better by like 10-15 frames but if its in sli thats a different story lol but...

dont listen to these guys lol you can get a decent laptop for about a g this is the one my friend has and it runs h2 perfectly fine
