HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok i just downloaded sparkedit and hmt and i was just wondering if any of you could tell me how to make it work and how to make modded maps.....from the begining that is.....meaning right after i download it what do i do? im new at all this i normally just play another game called runescape but now ...

ok i finally downloaded sparkedit and that hmt thing how do i make mods with them? please post here telling me how i would go about making mods on a map that way i can make them my self later
