HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

hey i wanted to know how like when i import a texture of the sniper rifle its there and i can do stuff, but like how could i edit it. i open it up and when i try to do somehtin with it it is real touchy, and also i export it over the old one, and open up hmt v3.5 and try to import its model ([mod2])...
