Different player classes? Possible?
This question is asked about Halo, but I'm asking it more along the lines to see if it may be possible for Halo 2. Is it possible in Halo Xbox to somehow make it so that players can be different classes and spawn with different weapons, items, and abilities? For example, someone could chose a "...

from what i believe about halo 2 if most of that is possible (witch im not sure if it is). then it will take a lot of work and a pretty good understanding of the semi new structure of the .map files. Of course, this couldn't be done with current knowledge, it would involve indepth knowledge of the ...

A Few Ideas Regarding Halo 2 (mods without a modchip). Read!
Hey, guys, I've just been doing a little thinking about Halo 2, considering it plays so well online (even over Xbox Connect). I had a few ideas involving modding it without end-users needing a mod chip. 1) Server Side Scripting I think a lot of it involves server side scripting. Now, before I lose y...

Creating PC based Halo servers?
Hey guys, I'm acutally more interested in this for Halo 2 than Halo, but its worth discussing regardless.... I know for a few games (such as Tribes: Aerial Assault and Star Wars: Battlefront on the PS2), the developers took the game, took at all of the character models/everything that wasn't needed ...

Similarities in Halo 2 to the original?
I was noticing looking though files on Halo 2 (on someone else's PC), that it uses the same .map files, etc, etc. Basically, all I'm wondering, is if this is gonna make modding Halo easier or not? I'd love to see a Team Fortress classic type of mod for Halo 2, with different classes such as the Brut...

If ppl could just burn a new Halo CD everybody would just make copies of games and nobody would buy games from the stores. I have a friend who burned a copy of NFS: Underground, i put it in my Xbox with the chip on and it worked, but with the chip off it just gave the DDE You sure you burned it cor...

No, you can't make a modded Halo cd play in an unmodded Xbox, the whole point of installing a modchip is to get the Xbox to run unsigned code. You sure about that? How is that unsigned code? The coding is the exact same, the level is just a little different..... MechAssault exploits and stuff run t...

Well, I even added all of the shaders, coll, bitmaps, etc in with XInject. THe tree stilll looks like absolute crap.... What am I supposed to do? I inject it over the scorpion model because it's one of the few models in the map that is big enough. The tree now acts like a big tank. Even when I add a...

Putting a Large Pine Tree from level (Halo) into Blood Gulch
I tried using HMI to take a Large Pine Tree from the level Halo and replace the Scorpion tank on Blood Gulch with it. When I actually go into the game to play, the model looks like absolute crap. Please help. I've tried using some of the tutorials for "injecting the perfect" model, but HHT...
