Yeah Live is really out of the question. You could try Kai (although I warn you, they are getting very strict) or XBC.

Did you put in any other new hardware? Did you upgrade Halo with the new strings.dll thing and stuff? Sometimes RAM can be bad, try putting your old RAM in again and see if it happens(yeah its a pain but its worth it). If not, then your RAM is bad and you might want to get a refund and research into...

Did you just install that RAM? I can tell it isnt Dual-Channel, (at least from my point of view) because if you got cheap, generic RAM sometimes this causes problems (believe me).
