best way to capture video?

hi!! all i have is an ibook with firewire,usb and a mini dvi input i also have a video camera

wich is the CHEAPEST way to capture video. is there some way i could hook it up to my video camera and record it that way??

yea! that is what i have done

i have made a custom halo dvd with all of my favorite mods and burnt it to dvd-rw and it works great

it is a pain in the arse trying to test mods with one controlla!!! and i dont want to have to wait until thursday when i have LAN partys to try them out.

is there a way so the BOX thinks there is two controllers pluged in or it is playing a system link game???
