Campaign mod packs

Post by SkgSkrillaka »

I know Multiplayer maps are the most preffered when it comes to modding
But I was pondering on if there are any map packs that are completed or even in the works, Most likely including all campaign level patches?

like I know this may take a long time but say you have a multiplayer mod like e.g Biodrop
I'm thinking a pack that has patches to convert all campaign levels to have the feel of Biodrop but still the same theme, like a campaign that looks like Biodrop..

Get what I mean?
If not I'm really interested in starting a full campaign conversion.

PROJECT CARBON

If only, guys. If only.

It's been tried. But I imagine it's so tedious that eventually the teams just drop it.

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I've been doing a PC campaign mod where all the levels are modded in the same way. Now I know Halo 2 modding isn't the same as PC, but I have been working on this mod for almost a year now, and it still isn't finished.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

you mean MPC? Play Campaign on Multiplayer?
Well it has been attempted, but there are problems.

Edit: Oh I see, campaign maps are just too big.

Also whats Project: Carbon?

Project Carbon was a full Campaign mod that Trulife, T Beezie, and I think iGeo and ScottyGEE were added to in the end.
Anyway, unless they're doing an amazing job at keeping its production a secret, it's been dropped.

Yeah, so I'd suppose that the only reason they're so rare is that they're too hard. :?

No not really.
I mean actually going into the campaign maps and playing them from start to finish with all maps modded to a certain theme.

It's a shame if it has been stopped. (Project Carbon)
I guess all I/we can do is hope.
Oh and philly I respect you for your lengthy campaign modding :P
I would 1+ rep you but alas, you cannot. =/
