Saints Row 2 Trailer

Things you wouldn't do as a game developer; insult GTAIV.

Still, doesn't look like a bad game.

I put this in the café to discuss the trailer and it's cheekiness more than the game itself.

If it bothers anyone here, I'll move it to the Gamers Corner.

I enjoyed Saint's Row a lot more than GTA. There is so much more customization in that game. The only downside from the first Saint's Row was no boats, tanks, and air vehicles. Looks like they made up for it. This is a definite buy for me.

I think the trailer was much like: "LOL GTA WE R BETTER!" It kind of seems like they are acting like second graders on a playground trying to show GTA up like that.

I think GTA is the most repeatetive game ever. Each GTA is the same crap in a different city. Its getting old.

I like GTA4 and all, it's a really fun game. But they've got a point... So far I haven't done anything very exciting.. It's all running small errands and hooking up with people to play a game of darts or go bowling. Saints Row was a pretty fun game, and I'll probably buy this one.

I liked GTA 4 and I liked Saints Row. I'll most likely pick this one up as well.

IMO Saints Row was better than all the GTA games before it. I like GTA4 and Saints Row the same though. Saints Row 2 looks a hell of alot better than GTAIV. I'll probably sell my GTAIV so I can get Saints Row 2.

I said GTAIV and Saints Row 2 too much in this post >_>

Well I personally think GTAIV is pretty damn good looking, especially when it's raining out and crap... This game doesn't seem to have the greatest graphics.

Regardless, SR2 looks frigg'n awesome, I might pick it up. I've never played a GTA game before IV, and likewise I've never played Saints Row.

Regardless, they look like two totally different games to me. There's SR, then there's GTA. There's a big difference IMHO, and that difference is enough to get both, not one or the other.

The one thing about Saints Row that made it better than GTA was insurance fraud. As far as I know, GTA 4 does not have that, which is a shame because it would work so well with Euphoria.
