weapon firing types
every time i change the weapon firing type, it changes all other types. in case you can't understand that, every time i make a weapon shoot from a semi-automatic to automatic, anything else that was semi-automatic will change to automatic too. its frustrating

its because of shared chunks, and the only way around it atm is to duplicate the weapon you want to change

I know what you mean. It seems that anytime someone mentions "fully auto", "infinite ammo", "run fast/jump high" or "Auto-a im", they are accused of being XBL cheaters. well AA is cheating u can't get around that but jumpin high and running fast can be fun its just the more experienced modders don't like it when mods are posted using that stuff mainly because it way old school and we have advanced way beyond that and i am kinda a fan of projectile swaps so long as the guns have a new model and the map is balanced

Ummm, guys? Duplicating doesn;t help; clone the trigger once. Change the secoundary trigger than make that one the default one.
Here:
Open Entity
Go to [WEAP]
Go to Reference Editer
Clone Chunk
Triggers
Select the trigger
Add to clipboard
Highlight Trigger chunk
Paste from Clipboard
Go to Meta.
Go to Triggers.
Change the type; make the button that fire the trigger back to R
Make the primary trigger not function -- I don't care how.
Have fun
If this doesn't work its not my fault; I only ever used this for full automatic weapons for a side project I;m working on.
As for AA being cheating. Thats not 100% correct. I may be releasing a mod that depends on AA.
