Bases/Bridges

Bases/Bridges

Hi, i have two questions, i was wondering if its possible to transfer the bases from coagulation/waterworks/containment to a new map? Ive seen a mod where someone did a sp to mp conversion and used coagulation as the base map and still had the bases appear. Could you transfer them as a mach?

My second question is, i wanted to make a bridge in my map, but not really sure how to go about it. I want it to look visually good, like what was used in the Nightwinder 2 mod. Do you need to inject models? or can you clone something in the map then swap it w/ a bridge or piece from another level? im really confused on this and was wondering if someone could give me some tips or point me to a tutorial.

as far as the bases on coag go, no they cant be moved, b/c they are part of the bsp scenery.

for the Nightwinder v2, MrMurder used the deltaapproach bridge and spawned it as either an itmc or a mach, I didnt look to see which.

Edit: To add things to a map, theres a tut in the tut section called something like "adding things using just entity"

ya to add things you need to use entity and clone chunks then change them to bridge parts or as eternal already said you can use the bridge from the sp map delta approach and spawn it as i think its just a mach and then use entity's bsp veiwer to move it where you want it ya in the tuts section just search for " how to add new things to maps" i think it covers scenery, active scenery, ect ect

thanks alot guys!! im goin to try that right now. If i use the bridge from delta approach, is it possible to resize it? im not sure if itll be long enough or it might be too long for what im using it for. thanks again :D

- Also, how did MrMurder add those lights to his bridge? or where did he get those from? o.o

Did you not see the big rise in mods once the bsp scenery mover app was made by Shade?

Well the bases are somewhere, I am currently doing a lot of different research on BSPs so have hope for soon this will be possible....

The bridge was made up of several bridge machs found on deltaapproach.map I beleive....
