Novice to console use HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so I managed to edit the target properties and now get the console to appear in the game. When I type in a cheat commant I get a message saying command can not be executed!

New to this and very frustrated.

Also downoaded the map tools v 3.5 but have no idea what it does or how you use it. all I want is deathless player to get me out of a tight spot

you might want to look for tuts that seems interesting to you most of them require hmt so here where you look.

the console i really don't know what kind of comand your typing in so it could be your spelling or the comand doesn't exist.

if u use commands like sv_kick playername or sv_ban playername in a multiplayer game u created u should be able to kick people and whatnot.
