Halo 2 Modding on a 360
Halo 2 Modding on a 360
I am a pretty advanced halo 2 modder (I can skin, model, do bsp conversions, ect.) and my xbox just crashed a couple days ago. I didnt even open it, or change any of the system files, and it just flashed green and red when I turned it on. So I decided that I am going to get a 360, but Im not sure if I want to mod it or not. I was wondering, what limits do you have with modding halo 2 on an xbox 360? Can you still mod old maps, and use trainers, and custom dashs? thanks.

You can still mod old maps, but you have to play them from a disk, after you open the 360 up to flash the DVD Firmware, there are no modded dashboards for it, they are just now running Linux on the older ones(HD DVD updated ones only), and of course TDATA modding is still possible. Trainers cannot be used.
Alright, thats what I was mainly wondering, if you would have to use a disc or not.
