(TUT]How To Reskin Halo 2 Maps

(TUT]How To Reskin Halo 2 Maps

A begginers tutorial on how to reskin halo 2 maps, sorry, again i do not know how to add pics!

So you Want to Reskin some of your Halo 2 Stuff well here is what you have to do..

Things you will need...........

-Dothalo DOWNLOAD
-Adobe PhotoShopCs2 DOWNLOAD HERE
-DDs Plugin FOUND HERE
-CMR2 Map Resigner DOWNLOAD

Ok now download all this unless you already have all that

1st open your My computer up on your Computer go to your LOCAL DISK then the Programs File then locate Adobe then go to Photoshop Cs2.... Now click the Plugins Folder and the DDs file you downloaded earlier past this in these FOLDERS Extensions, and import and Export.. Now thats done.

2nd Open the Map you want to reskin in Dothalo
-now scroll down to the Bitmap file
-open it up
-look for a Bitmap you want to reskin
-select it and do the following, click save texture, and name it "Reskin"




3rd Now open up your PhotoShop Cs2
-In the Top left hand select File and open that up
-Open the Bitmap file you saved befor
-Now you can do whatever your want to that Bitmap file...
-if you dont know how to use Photoshop here are some of your Basic tools you can use: Paint Brush, pencil thing, shader, writing, and a lot of other tools that you can see for yourself


4th Now how to Save and make your New Skin Work
-Click file save, make sure to save in somewhere you can access easily, or will remember





5th now that everything is saved do the Following to Inject your new skin into the Map! Go to bitmaps and click on the object you want to reskin, now click Inject Texture, and now your done!



YEAH U CAN SKIN NOW............[/img]

Why would you need CMR, aside from tdata modding?

You left out internalizing the bitmap...using Halo2IB
Yes, they're magnetic, if you were wondering. And yes, they do clank when I walk.
