Need help attaching a bridge

Post by m13120 »

Hey, I'm fairly new to mapping, but what I need help on right now is attaching the ice fields bridge to my level and making it come out with no errors when using STL check. I have already downloaded the .3ds file for it, and imported, and put it where I want in my level. All I need help is attaching it and everything else with that. Anyone willing to help?

If you want to do it the REALLY easy way, put your bridge EXTREMLY close to your map, and link it to the frame.

If you want it so there are no gaps, then delete the faces of the map where the bridge is going to go, attach it using the attach button, and then close all the open faces by creating new ones.

Personally, i just use the linking one, because you can miss the open edges, and sometimes you cant fix them. >.<
