I don't know if you know but, this entired forum is consacrated to halo modding...so you should find something before 1min end.

i have to admit i use google more and enter halomods to follow it
wen i search here i get a very long list with up to 500 pages sometimes
go to the skinning section of the forums and there are some great tutorials
in the tutorial section of halomods.com too
