how do i darken a map?

how do i turn the sun off?

i know it is possible some1 did it to hang em highbut i cant find out how

You can use halo map tools and darken the fog, but I really haven't tried it that way. So I use Photo shop. With photoshop u first extract the bitmap of what ever map. Then using the tools in photo shop u darken it. then inject the bitmap back in. (When you extract the bitmap it becomes a .dds file and if you have photo shop you can get a dds import and export plugin in the files, utilities link at halomods.com

also you can't just get rid of the sun. The map will still look bright. If you want to get rid of the sun anyway, the suns meta is in the lens tag in halo map tools, so swap it with something thats dark or something else.
