Anyways basically you will want to go to entity and find the mode tag. double Click on warthog.hlmt and go over to the reflexive viewer (the window on the right side where it says variation, health and shields etc). Right click and click clone chunk. Then a new window will appear. Look for the reflexive named "VARIATION" and expand it by clicking the little + sign. Then after you expand it then you should see DEFAULT, TROOP, DAMAGED, GUASS. Expand the DEFAULT reflexive with the + again. Now you should see PIECE and UNKNOWN. Expand UNKNOWN with the +. now clilck on "chunk - number: 0 - Name: chaingun.vehi - size: 16" now on the right hand side of that box change the number 20 to a to however many more active turrets you wish to have. Lets say you want 1 more, so you would change that 20 to a 1. If you wanted 100 more (kinda weird) you would change that number to a 100. So after you change that number click the clone button reright below. Then the box will do its cloning and collaps all the reflexive that you expanded. Afterwards click "add meta to map" and it should say done after several seconds. Then all thats left to do is go to insolence to the hlmt tag and tie your new turrets to markers.
.
have 2 problems

1) when click on "add meta to map" receave that error

Image

press ok and receave the "done" message. that is a problem?

2) "Then all thats left to do is go to insolence to the hlmt tag and tie your new turrets to markers". what must do? ok im go to warthog hlmt

and see the new turret, but now?

k basically you shouldnt be getting that ident error. When i wrote that i was kinda sicxk and tired and i made a redundancy error

Anyways basically you will want to go to entity and find the mode tag
this shouldnt have been there, but you are using entity for this process

you should have started the process from...
Click on warthog.hlmt and go over to the reflexive viewer...
if you followed the tut correctly then it should have worked correctly.

after a bit of messing around with entity i discovered i get a broken ident error ONLY when i clone the hlmt from a fresh map to the modded map. If you have done any chunk cloning with the warthog.hlmt then that could be your prob. But then yet again there may be no prob what-so-ever. Try and start your map up in halo 2 and if things work fine then your good.

now to rehook the turret onto a new marker you were doing things right there. go exactly to where you were in insolence in the warthog.hlmt tag. and when you select chunk 1 you should have

Unknown | Turret | Stringid | ####### (those are the numbers)
unknown | <null> | Stringid | #######

Lets say you wanted to hook a turret onto the passenger seat marker you would change Turret to passenger. This will put the turret on the passenger seat so effectifly making a 4 seat hog (2 turrets, passenger and driver. You can get a complete list of the vehicles markers by going to its mode tag in entity and clicing clone chunk. Then just expand the marker section using the (+) Then when you find the markers you wanna use just close it via the (x) in the top righthand corner. If ya have any more probs just gimmy a shout on msn. it should be in my profile.
Signature over width limit and may not be animated.
