Any links to sites that have halo 2 maps tat are editable in dothalo and H2Edit

It is illegal to download Halo 2 Maps (Halo Map Files [*.map]). But you can get your Halo 2 Maps off the Halo 2 disk.

I'm just wandering why it isn't illegal to upload a rebuilt halo 1 map?

Um........i've read somewhere on the forums on halomods that u can get the maps from the Halo 2 CD but i've tried and it didnt work. Also its probley illigal to post Halo 2 maps because MS and Bungie dont want ppl modding them. Altho they woundlt be able to get the to their xbox so i dont know why they cant be posted on the web

You sound very inexperienced. The only llegal way to get maps is off your disk.

I wasn't aware you could post rebuilt Halo 1 maps. Perhaps you're referring to PC maps, which is ok, because after all Gearbox or whoever made HEK, and H2 PC will have a map editor. So I would believe they give the message that it's "OK" to mod on PC.

k if you dont have a halo 2 disk then you cant get the maps in any legal way. If your xbox is modded (which we are not allowed to talk about here) then you can use that to get the maps of the disk with the help of some progs. Go to http://www.xbox-scene.com to talk about xbox mods. The reason maps are not posted to dl cause when they are modded they tend to be...whats the word im looking for...BIG. ya thats the word. you can only find them in sppf or serenity or in a more rare case ppf.

seriously i wish there was a counter on this site which counted how many people have completly disreguarded the forum rules about not talking about xbox general modding and such.
