adding itmc's

i cant get the new itmc's to work. I duplicated an smg in the itmc and changed the indent to lets say the flag. I went to netgame equipment and cloned it 2 times and clicked add meta to map. then i changed the 2 that r added to the smg1 itmc. in the bsp viewer i move the flags to where i wanted them and clicked save changes resigned it and ftp'd the map. but when i test it there r no flags where i put them. Does anyone know what i did wrong? thnx for your time
