How do I change the sound of the battle rifle firing to that of a turret?

find the turret fire sound, then copy the meta offset then past it in the br fire meta offset, i think.

woah thats totaly off,
goto the weapons dependencies, goto Battle Rifle
then goto this tag (effects\objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\fire_bullet)
then swap this sound (sound\weapons\battle_rifle\fire_burst) with this one
(sound\weapons\gauss_rifle\fire)

the way i posted worked when i made a needler sound like a beam rifle
