AI spawn, xbox

AI spawn, xbox

ok, i'm trying to spawn AI on blood gulch but, so far all i can do is spawn a bipd and when i try to spawn a char, the game freezes.(any experienced modder probably knows this) So my question is, how can i spawn AI in multyplayer. Im open to anything, get creative.

NOT POSSIBLE cause u have to somehow link the ai ti the sbsp structre of the map so that it can hide behind walls and stuff and not walk into a walk and so on and nobody no's how so therfore u have been smoking to much pot and AI is a pipe dream lol'

It's not impossible. You won't have ones with pathfinding abilities, or that hide behind things... I'm fairly sure we can get them to about where they were in halo 1 (They'd chase + shoot you, but not roam) it'll just take time. Now that all of the good modders have mostly left, it is likley that we'll never have it. But it is quite possible.

It may be possible to link them to the bsp becouse in the AI Encounters Reflex each chunk has a bsp index option...so maybe....

well I am pretty sure that no mp sbsp tag has the pathfinding surface block, but you should be able to get it to work without it like in halo 1.
Also on a side note does anyone have a halo 1 or halo 2 whitepaper for AI.
