In-game clock on the HUD for Halo 1 Multiplayer?

In-game clock on the HUD for Halo 1 Multiplayer?

I played Halo 1 competitively, and I would time the respawn of the powerups with a stop watch or a kitchen timer. So I have an idea.

Would it be possible to have an in-game clock for Halo 1 Multiplayer? Possibly using the clock from the final run at The Maw to either count up, or count down from 1:00 to 0:00.
