Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

chamfer

Post by M@ttBot=AA= »

whenever i try to chamfer an object in 3ds max 7, it just gets all spikey.
how do i chamfer an object so it looks right?
Everytime i go to a website it says im the 1,000,000th visitor? How is that?

If we're means we are, and are'nt means are not, how come we're'nt is not a word?

Umm, go into convert to editable poly, go to edge selection and then select the edges you want to chamfer, but instead of clicking on chamfer on the right, click the settings box next to it, a new little window will come up and you can chamfer with smaller ammounts with that so it wont go all "spikey" which is, im guessing, your faces inverting.
