Halo 2 mainmenu.map text changes

I need to know what hex editor is used to change the text. Everytime I change the text (replace it in Hex Workshop) and save. It won't let me open the map in DotHalo or CH2R. If i resign it and ftp it, i get dirty disk error. Please any help is appreciated.

Can someone please help or direct me to a tutorial of how to change the "PRESS START TO CONTINUE" please in the mainmenu.map
