Well im trying to make a level with gmax....i got it to work....i dont have anypics yet because my sky didnt work and i didnt place any bitmaps...well i did but they didnt come out....:scratches neck:
But what i need is a skinner to help me with this. All i have is a huge bridge and a skyscraper. not really tall but il make it And for some reason theres fog. Well il try to work fast to get some early pics.

edit: PICS:...well i got one...but its of thw whole feild. Weirdly the grass didnt come out and the building didnt come out
I know the feeling with no textures, my maps before used to always have no textures (I tried but didnt work), Make sure you make a multi subobject, then make say, as maybe sections (like, 1 , 2 ,3 and so on) Then put a texture to each. (Soon Im giving out a map that I'm making, and It'll include all the folders, and textures and stuff so new people can see how to get textures to work and things) then select the polys you want the texture to be on and gve them the same id as the texture in the material editor. Then export and MAKE SURE that you create a shader, with only 2 things, the type of material (dirt, sand stone that stuff) and with a base map, you can add others but you dont need to, then save it as EXACTLY the same name of the texture. Should work..
I only got it to work last night, when me and my mate started on our map, and I got it to work, only thing was lightmaps, It was too dark inside so I added some lightmaps things (the painter thing) but then I couldnt save the lightmap! So can some one help me in lighting up the map? Thanks (Its indoors)
