ok i have a made a gun made a shader made a weapon tag and an item colection and an fp model but when every i put it in the game i can see the reticle but no hands or gun can anybody help me and im having trouble with bitmaps to the look grey like theres none there but it was skinned in gmax and chimp gave no error so i dk wtf is going on here plz help

nope that means nothing....cooldude5990 wrote:you added one guns tags and another guns .weapon. like you added an ar markers to your gun but when u did the .weapon u did like a pistol
u most likely:
didn't do the markers
didn't link the FP gun to frame
have the model moved too far back
one or more of those are the case....i suggest importing a gun similar and checking.....make sure the handle of the gun is on 0,0,0 in max (center of grid)

and to stay on topic, just by typing in 0,0,0 won't make the handle go into the exact spot, it'll make the middle of the gun go through it...if when u get the gun ingame its facing a wrong way, just rotate it accordingly....uhhh i can't think of nething else right now, but PM me if u have any more ?'s or problems
ooo as for Degenerate triangles, they don't matter for the 3p or Fp views, only the collision-geometry. If your collision doesn't compile PM me and i'll send u a tut to fix it......and don't just make a box for collision like HMC said. Sure it works, but its not accurate and can cause problems with other things (like physics).
