It's funny how everybody on this thread seems to be posting the same thing about being smarter than everyone, except they're lazy. It could be true though, because reverse engineering stuff isn't exactly for dummies.

I guess I come off as lazy, because I never do my homework or really try in school. Most of that is because I can't pay attention, I used to be able to in like elementary school, when I still deep down was interested in learning, then I lost interest and really can't force myself to pay attention even when I try my best to. I still do relatively well when I put very minimal effort in, last semester I honestly put no effort in and barely passed a few classes because my effort was extremely low. I don't think I'm the smartest in my school like some people in this thread come off as, while making spelling/english language mistakes(I'm not that good at English class, but come on, if you're gonna talk about being smarter than everyone at your school, don't come off as dumb while you're doing it) I really don't think that grades reflect your intelligence at all, because intelligence can be measured in many different ways. Like abstraction, problem solving, reading, ect...

Also Tural, in my opinion the only test that really tells how intelligent you are is your cumulative finals at the end of the year, if you don't study a bunch, then it shows how much you absorbed and learned.

I got bad grades in school. I took trigonometry in school last year and didn't do so good, mostly because of laziness... About a week ago, I took my math placement test for college and tested high enough for math 173 (Honors calculus)...

I voted "no"

not necessarily. i only do aout 1/2 my homework and never study for tests, but i have never gotten lower than a B at the end of a quarter.

meh...im lazy and w8 everything to the last min still get A's...then again there's cheating so maybe......school don't really show how intelegent you are period(wow i misspelled intelligent) IQ test does.

can someone link m to a free online IQ test that isn't trying to scam you?
every one I've tried either makes you take this long 'free' test and then won't give you your result until you pay them or i take the test, they ask for my email and then there isn't even a result at all... Maybe everyone does great on IQ tests because only the intelligent can find them...

my grades absolutely do not reflect upon my intelligence. i have ADD which impedes my abilities in school, yet i am smarter than half of the kids in my grade.

yes: they do some kids at my school are so ****ing smart that there in like advanced everything there 2 grade above everyone else and they get strate A's

no: i get A's and B's but i am unintelligent grade mainly require effort and part of it it my memory short and long term is horrible.

IQ tests don't really test intelligence necessarily anyway, because you can be intelligent in areas other than math, like music or something.

I had to quote this from page 1, it was exactly what I was thinking when I saw this thread. School is a matter of effort/consistency. Intelligence is a matter of, well, not being dumb.
