Testers Needed

Well, I put the "YeloConfig" and "YeloResource.rsrc" files in my "E:\TDATA|4d530064\" , then I put the "YeloLauncher.etm" in my trainers folder. I deleted my old Yelo files from my XBox so there would be no confusion which was which. I loaded the trainer using the Xored Mini Launcher and also tried loading it with Evo-X, but, when H2 loads, it freezes at the main menu screen after just a couple of seconds.

I am very certain that I installed everything properly, yet it refuses to work for me.

I'm so confused, any ideas?

Try the new build, and be sure to disable your autoupdate (my au code doesnt get ran until after its already loaded, I'll fix later ;p). Anyone thats given me a sysinfo file is a tester...

well things arnt going good for me.. when i first loaded the trainer it froze when i was on teh select player screen going to split screen.. Then i turned it off and it loaded the map fine but nothing happened... the controls wernt working.. and so i was playing around with it and then my xbox just shut off with no warning.. so i dont know if this is going to work for me.. guess ill try again..(yes i put the files in the right place)
Edit:Nope this time it froze on the main menu..

I don't know what to tell you...I've thoroughly tested these builds on both debug and retail modes with evox and xored and I've never experienced any of those problems. Just make sure your au is manually disabled as the current build won't disable it for you. If you're still having problems, I'm going to need your full system specs like what bios youre running and stuff...

well the auto update was disabled.. i diabled all the other trainer so that is not the problem.. i got the map to load once and i went into 3p and then hit y+up and it froze.. and then i tried it again and it froze on the countdown.. so yea i have a standard softmod bios of the mech assault way... other than that i just added a 160 gig hdd and that is it.. so i dont know what is up.. and bios version on the dash shows up as unknown.. so idk how to find it if it has changed...

It's working fine for me. I've tested it with and without debug as well as using different programs to launch it (xbmc, evox, xored 2.2). I even tried different map packs. It worked fine for me. I couldn't even get anything to happen with the autoupdate turned on. I'm really not sure what's happening with you guys.

Well, I'm using:
-XBox ver. 1.1/1.2
-NTSC
-No Auto Update on my box (never has been)
-Stock 9 gig HDD (mech assualt softmodded)
-Ltools ver. 1.8
-Xored Mini Launcher ver. 2.2
-also tried launching it using EvoX (build 3935) and XBMC
Still won't work for me, freezes just a few seconds after my mainmenu screen loads.

I just don't get it

...and please understand, I do know what I am doing, I'm no n00b! I deleted it all, off of my box, and I reinstalled the older version of Yelo, which works perfectly for me. That's why I don't understand.

Sorry man, I tried real hard. I guess I'll just have to wait for the final release.

I still can't find anything immediately wrong with the code, as it works flawlessly for me. I've been moving some shit around, trying to eliminate as many problems as possible...hopefully I'll have a new build out tonight and if it's still not working for some of you, I might need you to do a little debugging so I can see exactly where it's crashing

well for me it seems to freeze after a certian amount of time.. i dont know why but after about 30 seconds it freezes no mater what.. and somtimes it freezes on the main menu load... so idk what is the problem

Meh, see if this fixes anything. Refer to the config.asm for a layout of the config.

EDIT: Being bored I downloaded that file and tried every etm, all of which returned me to the dashboard after the intro.
