and as for college majors, i've been thinking lately. maybe i'm interested in computer science now, but will i still be interested 20 years from now? i never did see myself being a cubicle jockey for my whole life, but i'm worried that's what a CS degree is setting me up to be... i just want to know that what i find interesting now isn't gonna turn into the bane of my existence in 20 years when i'm walking into work saying "oh god, i've got to write ANOTHER fucking memory allocation function. *SIGH*". i dunno, i guess i need to sit down and think this over...

i just had my graduation party, got a nice amount of cash in cards from everybody that came. i'd love to go out right now, buy a 360, and all the other stuff i've been wanting to get, but i'm gonna wait until i get a job, since the last thing i want to do is take all this money my family gave me for college and blow it on toys.
but, my mom is wanting to get me a laptop for graduation, and a new battery and wifi card for the one i currently have, so as far as i'm concerned, i've got a good setup tech-wise for college.

now that i'm out of school, it's time to get a job.
somehow, i've got the feeling I won't be getting one for a while. I'm going to apply at every store within waking distance (two strip malls), but i still don't think i'll get hired.
