Halo does have a limit. I believe for vehicles it is 85+ and the map will return an exception. I also believe that if you go over the maximum_objects_rendered limit, you will exception. I think thats like 200, or maybe 300. Im not sure.
hey if i can make this spaceship (below) on infinity and still manage to keep all the default scenery on the map (and actually add MORE scenery to compliment the default scenery) then i have the resources to make a good race track, and i don't plan on placing more warthogs than a server can allow players in, 85 will not be necessary

Make a whole racetrack concrete model in 3DS and export it to HEK, etc. This will make it more unique instead of having be just blocks. Believe me, no matter how elaborate your log mod is, it will still be a log mod.
Think outside the box.
But I still hear the deafening drums of war onward every twisted spoke

You should consider what Brightside said. I can tell you understood the log mod part, but I don't think you understood/paid attention to the whole post. FC Homies made a racetrack mod, and I gave him a better thing to use instead of the edited logs. I'm sure Brightside saw that post ( ), and he saw what I made for Homies. I don't have the picture anymore, due to my stupidity of thinking I would never get WarthogPark done (and everyone says "Lulwut?"). Anyways, take into account what Brightside said.
logs were the only things available that can be used for building things when i made that, i'm thinking of PMIing something i like from one map that can make a good track and building the track out of that, for example, the first thing that comes to mind is the debris scenery that is just a chunk of flat metal, but like i said, that's just the first thing that comes to mind, i'm going to look for better things to use,
and I did look at what brightside had to say, but a custom BSP is way over my head, i can't even edit a stray vertice into a pistol, when i open modeling tools i just get this feeling like "wtf does this button do?"
if i do use logs, i wont use them in log mod fashion, they will probably be debris or something if anything...or an easter egg mb

I know that exact feeling, but he wasn't suggesting a new BSP. He was suggesting scenery...
Anyways, in real life, I'm not the smartest guy. Infact I'm kind of slow. Everything I do with modding, I have taught myself (with help) over the past year and a half. To me, the modding technique is like riding a bike. You have to learn balance. Then you don't forget. Once you learn how to model, you won't forget. You just need to learn.
