i fail to see how an ip can be illegal. thay're all perfectly within the acceptable range of ip addresses, and if it's not (ie: as in illegal) then it won't even work. "oo, look at me and my illegal ip of 7836.456d879x.45.99/Q!!! oh noes, i can't get on the internet!"

and cocofang, there's not really many bad things you can do by blocking an ip on your router.

@ explosive american = i have a linksys router as well, so i can probably help you through the gui, but to help you i need to know how many ip's you want to block, and why, specifically. do you just want to remove internet access from a pc on your home network, or do you want to block certain websites/servers from communicating with you? i can help, but i need more detailed info.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>
