HMT cannot edit Halo Trial

Hey guys, I just got windows vista and i downloaded HMT tools, it works perfectly for Halo PC(no duh), but everytime when i try loading a halo trials map, like blood gulch, it says "file not found", i mean wtf the maps in there...i'm using windows vista ultimate x86 32-bit, anybody notice whats going on? thanks and please reply fast, everytime i dont see my own halo skin i cry

I thought it was supposed to work with trial. If not, you can always sparkify then desparkify. That ought to get around the problem.

make sure to run every program as administrator (right click). See if that fixes it

thanks i tried that, i mean it says File Not Found, and i dunno why, and i noe it works for halo pc and halo trial cuz it still works when i was using xp duh.... so please, help more people

THMT is a minor hacked version of HMT that just changes the default rebuild magic if I remember correctly. It shouldn't have anything to do with reading maps. And as Stewart said, it works under XP. Very odd to have that kind of error under vista only for trail. Especially with the run as admin fix. Have you tried sparkifying? I know it's not the best solution but it might be a work-around.

thanks man, but do i have to install xp in order to get hmt working 4 trial? i dunt wanna reinstall my OS....
